I rarely say this but full view please? I used stippling a lot and I don't know if you can tell from the preview.

other than that, aaaargh. finally. this is my baby. :( first thing I've actually worked on and finished in weeks and weeks.
the style was inspired largely by a few advertisements in Esquire magazine (no idea who the artist was), the work of Brett Helquist and some of the work here. collages and things, I like that stuff.

markers, black ink, cut out letters, sweat, blood.... :stab:

fantastic, it looks like it should be in a newspaper as a mockery for someone like george bush etc. on the note now, of the words "the truth" in the sunglasses.. this totally speaks to me, -- far too often the truth is impossible to get from someone, and when it is reached, it's as though more often than not it ends up having to be reefed from the person whom is supposed to be giving it. and it really makes me think about the degrees we have to go to to get the truth in a sense.. - and thats where the 'ransom' part comes in for me. -- it's almost asthough, in order to get the truth from someone, you'd require a ransom for something, you'd have to take something away from them and then force them into giving you what you deserve in the first place.. - well, thats my opinion on your piece.. as someone who's 'more suited to photography'. hehe. *winks*.
